Wood cabinet doors are a great choice for your cabinet remodeling project. If a complete remodel including new cabinets and counter tops is not in your budget, we highly recommend refacing your existing cabinets. Refacing can be as simple as replacing your old cabinet doors and drawer fronts with new ones from The Door Stop.
We manufacture: cope & stick or mitered doors that have either raised or recessed (flat) panels.
We also manufacture: dovetail drawer boxes, drawer fronts, corbels and specialty cabinet doors.
Our dovetail drawer boxes are constructed with dovetail joints. This not only adds beauty to the drawer boxes but is known to be the strongest joint available.
Our drawer fronts our manufactured in three styles including slab drawer fronts, 5 piece drawer fronts or a routed front. A slab drawer front is a solid piece of wood that has an outside edge profile on it. A 5 piece drawer front is made out of two stiles, two rails, and a panel just like a door. The stiles and rails are smaller in width than the doors to accomidate the small sizes of the drawer fronts. There are six different routes included in our routed fronts.
Corbels are commonly used to support counter tops in areas where they over hang the cabinets. These areas include breakfast knooks, wet bars, and kitchen islands. Making knick-knack or book shelves is another great use for corbels.
Specialty cabinet doors made by The Door Stop are French Lite doors and Lazy Susan doors. French Lite doors are built with four or six lites per door.
Our current selection of wood species include alder, knotty alder, ash, cherry, hickory, knotty hickory, oak, knotty oak, clear pine, knotty pine, maple, knotty maple, white birch, oak, and paint grade.
