FAQs

What are drawer fronts?

Drawer fronts are a slab of wood that fits on a drawer box in your kitchen, bathroom, or elsewhere in your home. When replacing your cabinet doors, it's always best to replace the drawer fronts in your home as well, so you can get a finished look after your remodel.

Why should I consider replacing my drawer fronts?

If you plan to replace only your cabinet doors, your project may feel incomplete. Whether your current drawer fronts are made of a different type of wood, in a different color, or in a different style, it's best to replace everything all at once. Replacing your drawer fronts is also relatively low-cost and a great way to elevate your space.

What kind of drawer fronts do you offer?

The two most popular drawer fronts include 5-Piece Drawer Fronts and Slab Drawer Fronts. A 5-Piece is made of five pieces, while a slab drawer front is made with one piece of wood. We also have over 64 different styles and 22 different wood types or finishing options. Some of our most popular styles include Adobe, Shaker, and Heritage.

How do I choose the right drawer front style for my cabinets?

When ordering new custom cabinet doors and drawer fronts for your renovation project, we recommend choosing a wood type and style first. Once you choose a style that complements the look and feel you're trying to achieve, you can find a drawer front style that complements the rest of the details in your kitchen, bathroom, or home.

Do drawer fronts come in standard sizes?

All of our drawer fronts are custom-made. Once you find a style, you can learn more about our minimum and maximum width and height under the drawer front specs on the product page.

How much do drawer fronts typically cost?

The cost of a drawer front replacement will vary depending on the style, wood species, and finish. Our drawer fronts are priced by the square foot. Once you find a style you like, you can view a cost breakdown based on wood species on the individual product page.

How to remove cabinet drawer fronts?

Cabinet drawer faces can be unscrewed from the drawer box with a screwdriver. In some cases, the drawer box must be removed to access the screws.

How to measure for replacement drawer fronts?

To measure for replacement drawer fronts, you'll need to remove the old drawer fronts so you can measure the drawer opening. You'll also need to use a ruler to measure the width and height of the existing drawer front. Once you have the measurements, add 1/2 inch to 1 inch on each side to account for the overlay. Read our full measurement guide in our resource hub for more information.

How do I install new drawer fronts on kitchen cabinets?

You'll first need to predrill holes for the screws on both sides of the drawer front. Once the holes are drilled, position the drawer front on the drawer face so that you can drill the screws into the holes. You may need to use a clamp to keep the drawer front in place before you screw in the screws.
